The Fun Meet
The meet will be filled with hilarious and absurd relays. Awards will be based on humorous criteria established by our amazing drag queen emcee
and judges. More traditional events are also thrown in for good measure.
IMPORTANT! There’s one event we need you all to prepare for ahead of time: the drag queen relay! Get your groups of four together
(you can enter more than one relay team) and choose your outfits before that day. Please supply your own 1) dress/gown, 2) handbag and 3) shoes.
You can also wear a wig or hat. It’s one outfit per relay team, so make sure that dress fits all of you! Please no makeup, beads, glitter, or
anything else that seems like a bad idea to put in a pool!
This event is compliments of the Long Beach Grunions, so there’s no fee to join in the fun! The only requirement is that you must be a 2018 USMS
member invited by the Long Beach Grunions! We have the entire pool available to us, including the showers. The pool facilities close at 5:30 pm.
The Social Event
Plan to reconvene by 6:30 pm and celebrate the day’s silliness, and spend time with friends old and new, at the Silver Fox. The Silver Fox is
generously providing us with complimentary food, and all the normal bar beverages are available for purchase. They have also concocted a special
